About us
Every city deserves an honest review.
USCity.review was founded on a simple idea: choosing where to live, work or visit is one of the biggest decisions people make, yet reliable information about most American communities is surprisingly hard to find. Big cities get endless coverage, while the small towns that most of the country calls home barely register. We set out to build one place where every city and town in the United States can be rated, ranked and understood on equal footing.
Our foundation is data you can trust. Every incorporated city, town, village and borough recognized by the U.S. Census Bureau has its own page on USCity.review, complete with official population estimates, land and water area, coordinates and the ZIP codes it covers. We enrich those listings with open data from Wikidata, such as elevation, founding dates and official websites, so you can see the facts at a glance before you dig deeper.
Numbers only tell part of the story, which is why reviews from real people sit at the heart of the site. The neighbor who has watched a downtown come back to life, the commuter who knows exactly how bad traffic gets, the newcomer who found an unexpectedly welcoming community: their perspectives are what turn a spreadsheet into a picture of everyday life. Our rankings bring those voices together with the data.
We take honesty seriously. Every account must verify its email address, our forms are protected from spam bots, and our staff review listings and reports from the community to keep information accurate. We do not sell placements in our rankings, and we will always be transparent about how our scores are calculated.
Whether you are planning a move across the country, scouting a weekend getaway or simply curious how your hometown measures up, we hope USCity.review helps you see America's cities more clearly. Have a question, a correction or an idea? We would love to hear from you through our contact page.
